Society island centraly located, Raiatea is the "Îles sous le vent" capital. It shares the same lagon with sister island of Tahaa, Vanilla island.
Raiatea is nicknamed « Sacred Island » because of its history. Raiatea was the first settled area and shelter the first Royal Polynesian marae.
It would seem that some boats has gone from Raiatea to top of Polynesian triangle.
Tiare Apetahi and polynesian triangle are Villa Tonoï emblems.
Moreover Munt Temehani is the only place where we can find the « Tiare Apetahi »

5 minutes from the airport and 2 minutes of Raiatea down town, Villa Tonoï is in a good location.
First the bay where we are located was called « To'onei », and in new Tahitien language "Tonoï" means « The place to be »
